Addiction Angels seeks through multiple avenues to aid and ease the burden of anyone suffering the ravages of substance abuse.

About Our Founder

Dan Murray was inspired to form Addiction Angels upon seeing in person the suffering created by substance abuse in the Greater Philadelphia area. Dan’s goal is two-fold. He aspired to guide those looking to overcome addiction towards help and to ease their burden by providing support and basic necessities to those in the throes of addiction.

Addiction Angels is involved with multiple projects and is constantly looking for new avenues by which to assist those suffering from addiction.

We Believe Addiction Can Be Beat

Addiction Angels teaches prevention and education programs that positively impact parents, caregivers, and students. Through our extensive and important work, we have helped numerous people regain their lives through sobriety.

Our Approach

With a mission of eliminating addiction always in our purview, our targeted and time-tested approach incorporates four primary mission areas: Prevention, Advocacy, Treatment and Recovery Support.

Prevention

Community education and support services are aimed at preventing relapse once Addiction Angels has guided people toward rehabilitation.

Treatment

Facilitate entry into rehabilitation and Medically Assisted Treatment(MAT) programs.

Recovery

Monitor progress as patients transition from rehabilitative services.

Support

Provide comfort items such as food, clothing, and toiletries to those suffering from addiction and those who have completed rehabilitative treatment.

Our Mission

We believe in the power of community and the importance of a strong support network in the recovery process. Addiction often leads to isolation, and reconnecting with family, friends, and support groups can provide the encouragement and accountability needed for lasting change.

Our organization promotes peer support and community involvement, recognizing that shared experiences and mutual understanding can be powerful motivators for individuals striving to overcome addiction. By fostering a culture of empathy and understanding, we aim to dismantle the stigma surrounding addiction and create a society where individuals feel empowered to seek help and achieve sustainable recovery.
